Three Blue Devils rushers eclipsed the 100-yard barrier. Jimmy Miller had his third straight game with at least three rushing TDs. He had the opening two scores in the first stanza scoring from seven and 15 yards out, then added a 14-yard scoring run as part of Forks’ 26-point third quarter to finish with 133 yards.
Quarterback Casey Lanave rushed for 130 yards and two scores, and Ryan Lamond had 122 yards on the ground and two touchdowns.
UV-E made it 28-7 at halftime when Kody Homann pulled in a five-yard TD pass from Brandon Miles. The Storm (4-4) didn’t score again until the fourth quarter when Miles hit pay dirt on a 21-yard scramble.
UV-E will host Sherburne-Earlville on Friday in its season finale.
